No, all the necessary equipment is provided by the state: from uniforms, body armor, helmets and ballistic goggles to underwear and utensils. You will receive all of this at the initial stage, before the training.
Basic general military training at a training center usually takes 35 days. After the basic training, another 14 to 40 days of professional training in a specific military specialty follows.
