Job description

A military member in the position of a driver is responsible for the safe operation of vehicles within the framework of military activities. The main duties of a driver include:

  • Transportation of personnel and cargo: Transportation of military personnel, equipment, ammunition and other material assets within the military unit or to the places of combat missions.
  • Vehicle maintenance: Carrying out pre-field maintenance of the vehicle, checking the level of fuel, oil, tires and other elements.
    Compliance with traffic rules: Compliance with traffic requirements and safe driving in all traffic and weather conditions.
  • Safety of passengers and equipment: Ensuring the safety of passengers and cargo during transportation, compliance with the rules for the transportation of ammunition and other dangerous loads.
  • Repair work in case of accidents or breakdowns: Taking measures to repair minor breakdowns on the spot or organizing the evacuation of the vehicle in case of serious breakdowns.
  • Maintaining military records: Preparing the necessary documents, reports and logs regarding the operation and maintenance of vehicles. A military service driver plays an important role in ensuring the mobility and logistics of a military unit. His or her ability to drive vehicles and the ability to work effectively in military operations are essential for the successful completion of military service tasks.
Requirements
  • Age from 18 to 45.
  • Basic general secondary education.
  • Driver's license (category C and above), fitness for service in terms of health and moral qualities.
  • Fitness for service in the Marines (no medical contraindications to military service).
  • No criminal record.
  • A desire to become a part of the legendary family of the Marines!
Responsibilities
  • Transportation of personnel, ammunition and material resources to the place of completing the tasks
  • Primary maintenance of assigned equipment.
  • Maintaining waybills.
