A gunner is one of the ranks in some armed forces and military formations. It may have different meanings and responsibilities in different countries and military structures. - To systematically check the condition of weapons, sighting devices, charging and guidance mechanisms, carry out their technical maintenance, immediately eliminate the detected malfunctions and report to the squad commander about it.
- Be able to inspect, prepare and stow ammunition.
- Be able to work on a radio station and intercom.
- To be able to withdraw an infantry fighting vehicle (IFV) from under enemy fire to the nearest shelter, assist the driver-mechanic in carrying out technical maintenance and repair.
Working conditions:
- Contract service or conscription during mobilization
